As soon as it became known that General Motors suspended its acquisition efforts of its equally financially troubled cross-town rival (click here for details), Reuters broke a news story saying that the Chrysler LLC owner Ceberus Capital Management has had talks with Hyundai about a potential buyout of the U.S. automaker's Jeep brand. However, Cerberus wants to sell the Chrysler Group as a whole (Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep), but if worse comes to worst, then everything is possible.
