Tata May Appoint Ford Boss To Run Jaguar & Land Rover

The Indian Tata Group, which has been confirmed by Ford as the preferred bidder for the British marques Jaguar and Land Rover (see here), is likely to name a top Ford executive in Europe as chief executive of the Jaguar-Land Rover group according to a report from the Sunday Times. The current chief executive of the Jaguar – Land Rover Group is Geoff Polities, an Australian car-industry veteran.
