2008 Hyundai Genesis Sedan - First Official Image

Hyundai’s all-new Genesis luxury sedan was unveiled at its home market today, prior to the car’s public debut which will take place in Detroit in January 2008. Despite the fact that Hyundai has yet to issue a press release for the event, the first official image of the Korean market Genesis found its way into the internet this morning. There’s nothing more we can say about the Genesis’ 5-Series inspired appearance that hasn’t been already told, so we’ll leave it that. However, note that the N. American version of the car will not be equipped with the “Genesis” badge (see here), while we’re pretty sure that it will also get a different grille. -Continued after the jump

According to Hyundai’s latest press releases, the Genesis will be offered with two V6 units (3.3 and 3.8-liters) and the all-new 375 HP strong Tau V8 engine.
