Volkswagen's Spanish carmaker SEAT has announced that it will further cut production at its Martorell plant near Barcelona for the first half next year due to sluggish demand in Europe. SEAT said that for the period between February 2nd and June 30th 2009 it would halt work at the Martorell plant for between 7 and 29 days at different production lines.
