2009 Hyundai Genesis Sedan High-Res Images

We just acquired the high-resolution images from Hyundai’s Genesis test drive preview for the Korean media. In a months time we’ll have the chance to see the US version of the all-new Hyundai Genesis at the 2008 Detroit Show. The new mid-sized luxury sedan features a rear wheel drive architecture and numerous technical innovations, including the new Tau 4.6-litre V8 engine which will deliver 375 HP to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission. Hyundai's V-6 Lambda engines will also be offered in 3.3- and 3.8-liter editions. -Continued

According to Hyundai, the Genesis will be sold in Korea, China and North America. It remains unclear whether the Genesis will find its way to other major markets like Europe, Australia and Japan.
